Are your products vegetarian?
We strive to formulate our products to be vegetarian whenever possible. HPD Rx ONE contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, and many of the most-researched nutritional ingredients are derived from animal products, such as vitamin D3. Due to our commitment to creating clinically effective products, when we have to choose between a vegetarian form of an ingredient or an animal-derived (yet more effective) form, we choose to prioritize the more scientifically validated form.

If I am allergic to mushrooms, can I take Active Hexose Correlated Compound?

Since HPD Rx Active Hexose Correlated Compound contains 550 mg of the fruiting body extract per serving, if someone is allergic to mushrooms, they should not take HPD Rx Active Hexose Correlated Compound.
HPD Rx Active Hexose Correlated Compound also contains 550 mg of the mycelia, or root of the mushroom, which does not contain spores. In addition, as part of the manufacturing process, the raw material is subjected to a fermentation process that breaks down the high molecular weight molecules that are very tough to digest into low molecular weight compounds. This process further lowers any allergenic potential.
